EUDICO Linguistic Annotator (ELAN)

Hi friends, it's the time for you to see one of the interesting assignment I've completed for this MOOCS course. Let's check it out!

First I need to inform you the function of ELAN and reason I used it for this course. According to our teacher and teaching assistant, ELAN is a Multimedia Marking Software developed by a dutch company. This software can separating and marking sound sequence and text transcription which can be labelled in real time in our video.

Now, I assumed you have already know the function of ELAN. So it's time for me to show you my ELAN. I made my ELAN and used Frog Story by Ganda, which is me as the original writer. There are 4 categories you will find: 1. Category or the Indonesian text, 2. Morpheme breaks (Professor has already separated the words morpheme by morpheme), 3. Gloss in English (We need to translate in English from the Morpheme that we already have in Indonesian), 4. Translation of text in English.
